Taijiquan, or Tai  Chi, was originally developed as a Martial Art  in ancient China centuries  ago.  However today, in the West, it is  thought of more as a holistic health enhancing exercise form characterized by  slow flowing movements that are performed in a relaxed conscious manner.   It  combines physical exercise and meditation with  the  goal  of leading a healthy life  through the  balance and harmony of mind,  body and  spirit.

Qi Gong is a holistic system of self-healing exercise and  meditation, an  ancient, evolving practice that includes healing postures, movement, self-massage, and breathing techniques, and  meditation.

Our  classes consist of about 25  minutes of stretching and  warm-up exercise, a short break and  30  minutes  of learning a Taijiquan form. We teach Yang  and  Chen Style forms, a sword form and  qigong.

Please be  our  guest for  a complimentary class.   Ware loose fitting clothes and  flat soled shoes.

Our classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with two programs: Qi Gong for 1/2 hour starting at 9:30.  The fee for 8 classes per month is $50. Our Taijiquan students participate in the Qi Gong class, take a short break and continue for an additional 1/2 hour learning a Taiji form. The fee for the Taijiquan class is on a sliding scale from $100.00 to $120.00 for two classes per week or eight classes per month. Students pay what is comfortable for them within this range.

Our Saturday Tai Chi/Qi Gong classes meet from 9:15a.m. to 10:15a.m. The fee is $60 per month and includes four classes.

There is no extra charge when there are five weeks in the month for either class.

Drop in students pay $15 per session.

We also have several training DVDs' that we have produced to help our students practice at home.  You cannot learn Taijiquan from a DVD, but it is a valuable training tool to supplement the teaching of a qualified Master.  These DVDs' cost $25.00 each.
